Volleyball Game Preview: Newark Wildcats vs. West Cowboys

The Newark Wildcats will square off against the West Cowboys at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Newark has now lost 11 straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since April 7.

Fans were treated to a battle of the Wildcats on Thursday. Newark fell 3-1 to Westerville South.

While Newark had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 18 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-20, 20-25, 25-21.

Meanwhile, West got the win against Centennial on Thursday by a conclusive 3-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Cowboys.

West never let Centennial on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-18, 26-24.

Newark's defeat dropped their record down to 3-15. As for West, their win bumped their record up to 11-5.
