Basketball Recap: Poth Takes a Loss

If Poth was feeling good fresh off their 62-20 takedown of Travis on Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Poth Pirates took a 50-44 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Austin Royals HomeSchool Royals.

Poth's defeat dropped their record down to 7-9. As for Austin Royals HomeSchool, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 15-9 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Poth will host Hays at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Austin Royals HomeSchool and Australian National Team (Australia) will round out the year against one another at at 1:30 p.m. on Monday.
