Football Game Preview: Carmel Padres vs. Alisal Trojans + Official Tickets

The Carmel Padres will take on the Alisal Trojans at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. Carmel will be strutting in after a win while Alisal will be coming in after a defeat.

Carmel got their first taste of in-conference action on Friday and they started things off strong. They walked away with a 28-21 victory over Hollister. The Padres haven't had any issues with the Haybalers recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Meanwhile, after some red-hot attacks on offense in their last three contests, Alisal finally came back down to earth on Friday. They lost 28-7 to Soquel. The game marked the Trojans' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

The victory got Carmel back to even at 3-3. As for Alisal, their loss dropped their record down to 4-3.

Carmel skirted past Alisal 37-34 in their previous meeting back in September of 2023. Will the Padres repeat their success, or do the Trojans have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
