Sheridan won against Meadowbrook on Wednesday with 11 runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Thursday. The Generals beat the Athens Bulldogs by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 11-1. The victory was nothing new for the Generals as they're now sitting on 11 straight.

Sheridan pushed their record up to 21-4 with the win, which was their 15th straight at home dating back to last season. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.9 runs on average over those games. As for Athens, with the loss, they broke their ten-game winning streak and moved their record to 18-5.

Coming up, Sheridan will challenge Jackson at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Generals 2.6, the Ironman/Ironladies 3.2) so any runs scored will be well earned. Athens does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
