Soccer Recap: Sayre Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Sayre lost against Frederick Douglass back in September of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Spartans fell just short of the Broncos by a score of 1-0. The shutout was out of character for Sayre seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in August.

Sayre dropped their record down to 7-8 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Frederick Douglass, their victory ended a four-match drought at home and bumped them up to 2-11-1.

Sayre does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Frederick Douglass, they wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next matchup, a 5-1 defeat against Tates Creek on the 2nd.
