Baseball Recap: DeLand Takes a Loss

The DeLand Bulldogs came up short against the Cardinal Newman Crusaders on Wednesday, falling 11-1. That's two games in a row now that the Bulldogs have lost by exactly ten runs.

Looking ahead, DeLand will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they take on Winter Springs at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Winter Springs' pitching crew has only allowed 2.5 runs per game this season, so DeLand's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Cardinal Newman, they are taking a road trip to challenge Dwyer at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
