Basketball Game Preview: Big Foot Chiefs vs. Jefferson Eagles

The Big Foot Chiefs will square off against the Jefferson Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Big Foot is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They came out on top against Whitewater by a score of 62-53 on Tuesday. The win was some much needed relief for the Chiefs as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Meanwhile, everything went Jefferson's way against Clinton on Tuesday as Jefferson made off with a 57-33 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Eagles.

Big Foot's win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-10. As for Jefferson, their victory bumped their record up to 5-7.

Big Foot was able to grind out a solid win over Jefferson in their previous meeting back in February of 2024, winning 49-38. The rematch might be a little tougher for Big Foot since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
