Volleyball Recap: Woodbine Takes a Loss

Woodbine lost against Marcus-Meriden-Cleghorn/Remsen-Union back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Tigers took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Royals.

Woodbine has also been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-8 record this season. As for Marcus-Meriden-Cleghorn/Remsen-Union, the victory got them back to even at 6-6.

Woodbine has already played their next game (against Paton-Churdan), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Marcus-Meriden-Cleghorn/Remsen-Union, they will face off against George-Little Rock at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Mustangs will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something the Royals surely won't give up without a fight.
