Volleyball Recap: Glenwood Gators vs. Southside Panthers
Glenwood was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell just short of the Southside Panthers by a score of 2-1.
In an exciting match in which no team claimed back-to-back wins, Glenwood sadly wound up on the wrong side. The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 24-26, 15-8.
Glenwood now has a losing record at 10-11. As for Southside, the victory got them back to even at 5-5.
Glenwood didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-1 win vs. Lee-Scott Academy on the 17th. Southside has also already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Hokes Bluff on the 16th.
