Basketball Recap: Three Straight Home Victories for Independence

Independence won the last time they faced Fort Scott and things went their way on Friday too. The Independence Bulldogs came out on top against the Fort Scott Tigers by a score of 57-47. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Bulldogs.

Independence's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-11. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.3 points over those games. As for Fort Scott, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-16 record this season.
