Master's Academy was handed a heart-breaking two-run loss in their last contest, but they sure didn't let that happen against Westwood on Thursday. The Patriots were the clear victors by a 19-4 margin over the Panthers. The result was nothing new for the Patriots, who have now won 11 games by ten runs or more so far this season.
Scarlett Grall was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out seven batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two hits in three consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, scoring three runs while going 1-for-3.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Alison Viersma, who scored three runs and stole three bases while going 2-for-3. That's the most stolen bases she has posted since back in April of 2024.
