Football Game Preview: Garinger Wildcats vs. Hopewell Titans + How To Watch

Garinger is 0-5 against Hopewell since August of 2015 but things could change on Friday. The Wildcats will venture away from home to take on the Titans at 7:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Garinger's offense might be in the hot seat on Friday considering what happened against Hough on Friday. They were outmatched by the Huskies and fell 66-0. While losing is never fun, the Wildcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina football rankings (they are ranked 350th, while the Huskies are ranked third).

Meanwhile, Hopewell had to suffer through a 63-8 loss at the hands of Myers Park. The game marked the Titans' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Garinger's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Hopewell, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-5.

Garinger was taken down by Hopewell 54-0 when the teams last played back in August of 2024. Can the Wildcats avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
