Softball Recap: Deshler Snaps 12-Game Streak of Wins at Home

After flying high against Hardin County on Friday, Deshler came back down to earth. The Tigers fell just short of the Sulligent Blue Devils by a score of 7-5 on Saturday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Tigers have suffered since April 5th.

Deshler's loss ended a 12-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 28-15. As for Sulligent, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 16-9-1 record this season.

Deshler will challenge Lauderdale County at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Sulligent, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 6-2 win against James Clemens on the 19th.
