Flag Football Recap: Knightdale Takes a Loss

Knightdale was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 37-6 loss at the hands of the Wake Forest Cougars. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cougars this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 13-0 back in September.

Knightdale's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Wake Forest, the victory (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 9-1.

Knightdale will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Apex at 5:00 p.m. on the 27th. Wake Forest does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
