Morrilton's pitching crew heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 9-0 margin over Heber Springs. The Devil Dogs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matches by six runs or more this season.

Meanwhile, Ozark fell victim to Mena and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They took a 5-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bearcats. The game marked the first time this season in which the Hillbillies were not able to get on the board.

Ozark's defeat dropped their record down to 9-6. As for Morrilton, their win bumped their record up to 11-3.

Morrilton took their victory against Ozark in their previous matchup back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 14-0 score. Will the Devil Dogs repeat their success, or do the Hillbillies have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
