The home team had won the previous three meetings between Fyffe and Ider, and Ider kept the tradition alive. The Red Devils came up short against the Hornets on Saturday, falling 8-1. The Red Devils haven't had much luck with the Hornets recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Fyffe's loss dropped their record down to 3-15. As for Ider, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-8-2 record this season.

Fyffe didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, an 8-6 defeat against Collinsville on the 14th. As for Ider, they have also already played their next match, a 9-0 victory against Geraldine on the 12th.
