Encina Prep extends home winning streak to five

In what's become a running theme this season, the Encina Prep Bulldogs gave their fans yet another huge win on Friday. Everything went their way against Sacramento Waldorf as Encina Prep made off with a 55-33 victory. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win Encina Prep has posted since December 8, 2023.

It was another big night for Sergio De La Cruz, who scored 25 points along with four steals. That makes it three consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Encina Prep's points. Phillip Worsham was another key contributor, scoring six points along with eight assists and six rebounds.

Encina Prep's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-5. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 71.8 points per game. As for Sacramento Waldorf, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 16-6 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Encina Prep will take on Victory Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Sacramento Waldorf, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Foresthill at 7:30 p.m.
