Soccer Game Preview: Omaha Northwest vs. Burke

Omaha Northwest hasn't had much luck against Burke recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Huskies will be playing at home against the Bulldogs at 6:30 p.m. Burke took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Omaha Northwest, who comes in off a win.

Omaha Northwest proved they can win big on Saturday (they won by five) and on Saturday they proved they can win the close ones too. They beat Jefferson by a goal, winning 3-2. Mathouk Wichyoah had to tread lightly for part of the match after he was hit with a yellow card, but that was the only trouble Omaha Northwest got from the refs.

Clovis Asumani and Matiya SayReh scored all three of Omaha Northwest's goals, bringing their combined season tally to eight goals.

Meanwhile, Burke came up short against Millard South on Saturday, falling 4-1. Burke were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 4-0.

Burke's loss dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Omaha Northwest, the victory got them back to even at 5-5.
