Basketball Recap: Tuscarora Titans vs. North Hagerstown Hubs

The Tuscarora Titans scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They claimed a resounding 66-30 win over North Hagerstown at home. The win was a breath of fresh air for Tuscarora as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Laney Barton continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, almost dropping a triple-double on 21 points, nine rebounds, and 11 steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Skylar Davis, who scored 15 points along with eight rebounds and three blocks.

Tuscarora's win ended a six-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-11. As for North Hagerstown, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last eight games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-12 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Tuscarora has the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome the Patriots at 7:00 p.m. on February 5th. Hopefully Governor Thomas Johnson focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 40 on Friday. As for North Hagerstown, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against the Lancers at 7:00 p.m. Linganore is looking to tack on another W to their four-game streak on the road.
