Volleyball Recap: Houghton Takes a Loss

Houghton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Edgar Wildcats.

Leading Edgar to victory were Kaitlynn Hartnady and Carina Seubert. Hartnady had eight digs and two aces, while Seubert had six digs and two aces. That's the most digs Seubert has posted since back in October of 2024.

Houghton now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Edgar, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-2.

Houghton has already played their next game (against St. Mary's Springs), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Edgar, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Notre Dame Academy on the 30th.
