Football Recap: Chiles Picks Up 11th Straight Win at Home

It's playoff time, and Chiles had no trouble coming through when it counted. They walked away with a 13-6 win over the Navarre Raiders on Wednesday. The victory was nothing new for the Timberwolves as they're now sitting on three straight.

Chiles found their leader in freshman Kendall Sadberry, who threw for 146 yards and two TDs, and also rushed for 53 yards.

Chiles' defense made their presence known, laying out the QB four times. In fact, those sacks all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut Ali Harllee. She is on a roll when it comes to sacks, as she's now posted at least one in each of the last seven games she's played.

Chiles' win was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 12-4. The home victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 4.0 points on average over those games. As for Navarre, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-7.

Looking ahead, Chiles will face off against Fleming Island at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The Golden Eagles' defense has only allowed 8.5 points per game this season, so the Timberwolves' offense will have their work cut out for them. Navarre does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
