Baseball Recap: Grossmont Foothillers vs. Granite Hills Eagles
The home team had come away the winner the last four times Grossmont and Granite Hills had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Foothillers came up short against the Eagles on Tuesday, falling 8-2. If the Foothillers were looking for revenge after losing 4-0 to the Eagles when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Grossmont got a good showing from Sean Chambers, who tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. Chambers has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two hits in four consecutive appearances.
