Football Recap: Washington Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Washington can now relate to. They took a blow against the Indian Hill Braves on Friday, falling 57-14. While losing is never fun, the Blue Lions can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio football rankings (they are ranked 291st, while the Braves are ranked 50th).

Although Washington took the loss, they still got scores from Javin Baker and Matthew Colflesh.

Washington's loss dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Indian Hill, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 11-0.

Washington does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Indian Hill, they will challenge Taft at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Braves 5, the Senators 3.7) so any points scored will be well earned.
