Soccer Recap: Skyline Comes Up Short

While it was all tied up 1-1 at halftime, Skyline was not quite Niwot's equal in the second half on Thursday. They fell just short of the Cougars by a score of 3-2. While losing is never fun, Skyline can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Colorado soccer rankings (they are ranked 147th, while Niwot are ranked 36th).

Skyline's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-10-1. As for Niwot, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-4-2.

As of now, neither Skyline nor the Cougars have any future games scheduled.
