            Overton and Antioch are an even 5-5 against one another  since January of 2019, but  not for long. The Overton Bobcats will be playing at home against the Antioch Bears  at 7:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. Both  are strolling into their  matches after big wins in their previous games.
Overton is headed into the  game after thoroughly thrashing Hunters Lane: they outscored them in every quarter. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that Overton blew Hunters Lane out of the water with  a  56-23 final score. The Bobcats have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven  contests by 28  points or more this season.
Overton's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was   Tahj McLemore, who  went 8 for 12  en route to 17 points and seven  boards. The team also got some help courtesy of  Jehmel Madison, who  posted seven  points along with seven  steals and five  assists.
 Overton was working as a unit and  finished the game with 14  assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Hunters Lane only posted four  assists.
 Meanwhile, Antioch had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 14.3 points) and they went ahead and made it five on Tuesday. They blew past the Warriors, posting  a  70-31 win. Given the Bears' advantage  in MaxPreps' Tennessee basketball rankings  (they are ranked 84th, while the Warriors are ranked 352nd), the result  wasn't entirely unexpected.
 Antioch is also on a roll lately: they've  won 12 of their last 13 matches,  which provided a massive bump to their 13-6 record  this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 61.6 points per game. As for Overton, they now  have a winning record of 9-8.
 Overton came up short against Antioch in their previous meeting  back in February of 2024, falling  66-57. Can Overton avenge their  defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
