Soccer Recap: Hernando Comes Up Short

Hernando and Clinton squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Hernando had to settle for second. They fell 2-0 to the Clinton Arrows. The Tigers have struggled against the Arrows recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Hernando's defeat dropped their record down to 10-7-1. As for Clinton, they pushed their record up to 14-4-1 with the victory, which was their tenth straight at home.

Hernando does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Clinton, they will take on Oxford at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday. Oxford will roll in looking for their 11th straight win, something Clinton surely won't give up without a fight.
