Lewiston proved they can win big on Thursday (they won by three) and on Saturday they proved they can win the close ones too. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Moscow Bears 3-2. The Bengals haven't had any issues with the Bears recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive win against them.

Lewiston took Moscow into a fifth set where they got it done with a four-point win. The match finished with set scores of 23-25, 25-18, 25-17, 24-26, 15-11.

Several Bears players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Laura House, who had ten digs and three assists.

Lewiston's victory bumped their record up to 16-7. As for Moscow, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 12-14.

Lewiston didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-2 loss against Lakeland on the 21st. As for Moscow, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Sandpoint on the 21st.
