Basketball Game Preview: Forest Park Panthers vs. Hampton Hornets

The Forest Park Panthers and the Hampton Hornets will face off at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played. Forest Park has now lost 12 straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since November 19.

On Friday, Forest Park took a blow against Pace Academy, falling 71-21. The contest marked the Panthers' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Meanwhile, Hampton came up short against McDonough on Friday and fell 58-50. While losing is never fun, the Hornets can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 205th, while the Warhawks are ranked 43rd).

Hampton now has a losing record at 7-8. As for Forest Park, their loss dropped their record down to 2-14.
