Basketball Recap: North County Now 8-2 over Last Ten Games

On Monday, the North County Raiders beat the Scotland County Tigers 58-51. Given the Raiders' advantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 105th, while the Tigers are ranked 301st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

North County is also on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-7 record this season. As for Scotland County, they moved to 11-13 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

North County didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 42-38 defeat against Fredericktown on the 3rd. As for Scotland County, they will take on Knox County at 6:00 p.m. on February 11th.
