Coventry Christian will face off against the Mount Calvary Christian Chargers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

Coventry Christian heads in on the heels of a playoff game on Friday. They lost 51-31 to Linville Hill. The contest marked Coventry Christian's lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Meanwhile, Mount Calvary Christian came up short against High Point Baptist Academy on Monday and fell 66-53. The Chargers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Coventry Christian will need to focus on slowing down Josiah Masters, one of several Mount Calvary Christian players who made an impact when they last played. He went 8-for-15 en route to 19 points and six boards. Masters is also on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 50% in the last four games he's played. Another player making a difference was Jackson Hughes, who posted nine points.

Coventry Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 9-7. As for Mount Calvary Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 13-10.

Coventry Christian came up short against Mount Calvary Christian in their previous matchup back in February of 2024, falling 60-54.
