Northwest skates past Tascosa with ease

Recap: Northwest Texans vs. Tascosa Rebels
It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the Northwest Texans had no problem doing just that on Friday. They took their game on the road with ease, bagging a 41-0 victory over Tascosa. Considering Northwest has won five games by more than 37 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
Saheed Durodoye was his usual excellent self, rushing for 245 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 10.7 yards per carry. Nathanial Jean was another key contributor, rushing for 65 yards and two touchdowns.
Northwest is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 10-2 record this season. As for Tascosa, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-7.
Northwest is on the road again on Friday and play against Abilene at 7:00 p.m. on November 24th. Abilene will be looking to extend their current eight-game winning streak. Tascosa does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
