Softball Recap: Edison Takes a Loss

Edison lost against McCollum on Thursday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Golden Bears came up short against the Cowboys, falling 16-1. The Golden Bears have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Edison saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Serenity Lizcano, who went 1-for-2 with one home run. That home run marked the first that Lizcano has launched this season.

Edison's defeat dropped their record down to 5-14-1. As for McCollum, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 19-5.

While Edison had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled on Saturday.
