Korba Posts Huge Game in 29-16 Defeat

Peru had to settle for second on Friday, but Isaiah Korba sure wasn't going down easily. Northwestern had no answer to Korba as he rushed for 163 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 7.1 yards per carry. Korba showed off some serious burst, cutting through the defense on one rush that went for 52 yards.

Peru dropped their record down to 3-5 with the loss, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season. Korba and Peru will take on Manchester at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

A Season-Best Performance from Aiden Robinson Leads Maconaquah over Wabash

On Friday, Maconaquah got the W thanks in part to Aiden Robinson playing the best football he has all season. Robinson wasn't messing around, throwing for 376 yards and seven touchdowns while completing 78.3% of his passes. The contest was his sixth straight with three or more passing touchdowns dating back to last season.

The victory for Maconaquah keeps them at an undefeated 7-0-1. Robinson and Maconaquah will welcome Rochester at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Marcell Sims Goes Supernova in Maconaquah Victory

Marcell Sims was instrumental in extending Maconaquah's winning streak to six on Friday. Sims was unstoppable, picking up 178 receiving yards and two touchdowns, while also rushing for 64 yards and a touchdown. He torched the secondary when he pulled down a catch that went for 71 yards.

This season, Sims has caught those 2 touchdowns while averaging 38.1 receiving yards per game.
