Recap: Trillium Academy vs. Center Line Prep
On Thursday, Trillium Academy didn't have too much trouble with Center Line Prep on the road as they won 62-43. Given Trillium Academy's advantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 87th, while Center Line Prep is ranked 354th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
It was another big night for Keymarryon Fishburn, who scored 27 points. The matchup was his third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaylin Bradford, who scored 11 points along with five steals.
The win makes it two in a row for Trillium Academy and bumps their season record up to 7-1. As for Center Line Prep, their loss dropped their record down to 3-2.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. After both having extra time off, Trillium Academy and Erie-Mason will shake off the cobwebs and challenge one another at 7:00 p.m. on January 5, 2024. Center Line Prep will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Redford Union at 2:40 p.m. on January 7, 2024.
