Recap: Haskell Haymakers vs. Cameron Yellow Jackets
After a string of eight wins, Haskell's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They wound up on the wrong side of a rough 8-0 walloping at the hands of the Cameron Yellow Jackets. Haskell was red-hot at the plate headed into the matchup (they scored no less than ten runs in the eight contests prior) but Cameron's pitchers proved too tough.
For Cameron's part, Jaxson Adcock made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run and only two hits while striking out nine over six innings pitched. Adcock has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two hits in three consecutive pitching appearances.
