Softball Recap: Humble Takes a Loss

Humble was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They came up short against the Kingwood Park Panthers, falling 14-3. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Wildcats of the 15-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2017.

Humble saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Natalie Garcia, who got on base in all three of her plate appearances with two RBI. That's the most RBI Garcia has posted since back in February.

Humble's loss dropped their record down to 4-17. As for Kingwood Park, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-4.

Looking ahead, Humble will face off against Cesar E. Chavez at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Kingwood Park, they will square off against MacArthur at 10:45 a.m. on Thursday.
