Football Recap: Faith Christian Finds Playoff Glory Versus Lawrence Academy + How To Watch

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Faith Christian walked away with it. They breezed past the Lawrence Academy Warriors to the tune of 52-8 on Friday. With the Patriots ahead 46-8 at the half, the contest was all but over already.

Faith Christian got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Isaac Suber out in front who picked up 110 receiving yards and one TD, and also rushed for 36 yards and one score. Suber showed off some serious burst, connecting on a big catch for 69 yards. Blayde Hinton was another key passer, throwing for 216 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only nine passes.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Faith Christian was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 293 rushing yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Lawrence Academy only rushed for 24.

The win (which was Faith Christian's third in a row) raised their record to 8-3. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 42.7 points over those games. As for Lawrence Academy, their loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 8-3.

Faith Christian has already played their next game, a 44-14 defeat against Arendell Parrott Academy on the 14th. Lawrence Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
