League recap: Richmond Hill scores huge upset over Glynn Academy

The biggest upset of the week belonged to Richmond Hill, who took down 99th ranked Glynn Academy, 20-17. Dominique Allen threw for 48 yards and two touchdowns and ran for 127 yards in the win.

The Wildcats extended the longest winning streak in AAAAA Region 3 this week by beating the Terrors, 20-17. This was the team's fourth consecutive win.

Jessie Robbins put up the best numbers through the air as Groves fell to Jenkins. He finished with 10 completions for 109 yards and three touchdowns.

Nick Fitzgerald was the best wideout in the league this week as the Wildcats bested Glynn Academy. Fitzgerald tallied three receptions for 48 yards.

The Rebels' Robbins and Sa'mard Osborne have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Robbins has thrown for 369 yards this season, while Osborne, a 5-foot-8 receiver, has 14 catches for 139 yards. David Katzman from Richmond Hill leads the league in rushing with 370 yards.

Two of the top units in AAAAA Region 3 will face off this week when the Wildcats take on Groves. Richmond Hill's offense has scored 143 points this season, good for No. 1 in the league, while the Rebels have allowed only 175 on the year.

A big matchup in the league this week will be when Ware County takes on the Terrors. As it stands, the Gators are in second, while Glynn Academy is in fourth.

There should be lots of points scored when Groves and the Wildcats face off this week. The top two offenses in the league, the Rebels comes in having scored 32 this season, while Richmond Hill has scored 143. Groves scored 20 points last week as it lost to the Warriors.

The Wildcats moved up to 62 from 115 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in the league. A 20-17 win over the Terrors helped Richmond Hill improve its standing.
