Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Clear Springs). They blew past the Brazoswood Buccaneers 60-30 on Thursday. The victory was some much needed relief for the Chargers as it spelled an end to their ten-game losing streak.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Clear Springs to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jasmine Whitaker, who went 6 of 13 on her way to 14 points and six rebounds. Whitaker is trending in the right direction considering she's improved her point production for three straight games. Another player making a difference was Kyla Kimbrough, who posted eight points in addition to six boards and four steals.

Clear Springs was working as a unit and finished the game with 13 assists. That's the most assists they've posted since back in January of 2024.

Clear Springs' win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 7-22. As for Brazoswood, their loss was their seventh straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 5-24.

Clear Springs has already played their next matchup, a 50-34 defeat against Clear Falls on the 25th. As for Brazoswood, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 70-34 loss against Dickinson on the 25th.
