Springfield has been on a difficult stretch since their win on March 11. They came up short against the Northeast Eagles on Tuesday, falling 4-1. Springfield were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Northeast apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in May of 2024.

Springfield's goal came courtesy of Justin Rubio Hernandez, who's now up to three this season.

Springfield's loss dropped their record down to 1-9-2. As for Northeast, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-3.

Coming up, Springfield will face off against White House at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Northeast, they will challenge Cheatham County Central at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
