Basketball Recap: Long Reach Takes a Loss

Long Reach lost against Reservoir back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Long Reach Lightning took a blow against the Reservoir 'Gators, falling 59-27. The contest marked the Lightning's lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Long Reach dropped their record down to 5-6 with the defeat, which was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season. As for Reservoir, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-2.

Long Reach will be playing at home against Wilde Lake at 6:00 p.m. on January 24th. As for Reservoir, they will face off against Hammond on January 24th.
