Volleyball Recap: Abilene Takes a Loss

Abilene lost against Jim Ned back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Eagles fell just short of the Indians by a score of 3-2. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Abilene took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. The final score came out to 25-23, 19-25, 25-27, 25-19, 15-12.

Abilene's loss dropped their record down to 13-8. As for Jim Ned, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 14 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-6 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Abilene will venture away from home to square off against Midland Legacy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Jim Ned, they will head out to take on Miles at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
