Basketball Recap: John Bartram Snags Sixth Win in Last Eight Games

John Bartram won against String Theory on Thursday with 60 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Thursday. The John Bartram Braves put the hurt on the Philadelphia Performing Arts Knight with a sharp 60-35 win. Given the Braves' advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 297th, while the Knight are ranked 691st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Joseph Mccutchen was his usual excellent self, putting up 26 points. His afternoon made it eight games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Dajuan Peak, who posted 13 points.

John Bartram is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 11-6 record this season. As for Philadelphia Performing Arts, they dropped their record down to 1-7 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight at home.

John Bartram has already played their next game, a 72-53 victory against J.P. McCaskey on the 25th. Philadelphia Performing Arts does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
