Basketball Recap: Raidon Barney's Big Game Can't Quite Lead South Sevier over Richfield

South Sevier lost against Richfield back in November of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Rams fell 67-55 to the Wildcats. The Rams have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

South Sevier lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Raidon Barney, who went 7-for-15 on his way to 24 points. Cannon Barney was another key player, putting up 11 points and five steals.

South Sevier now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Richfield, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-2.

Coming up, South Sevier will square off against Grand County at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Richfield, they will head out to square off against Carbon at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Wildcats will need to watch out since the Dinos have now posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.
