Riverton is a perfect 4-0 against Copper Hills since March of 2024 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Silverwolves will face off against the Grizzlies at 6:30 p.m. Riverton will be strutting in after a win while Copper Hills will be coming in after a loss.

Riverton is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Utah's top teams: Orem, who was ranked ninth at the time (Riverton was ranked 14th). The Silverwolves blew past the Tigers 3-0 on Friday. The victory was nothing new for the Silverwolves as they're now sitting on three straight.

Riverton's got stronger as the match went on, holding Orem to fewer and fewer points set over set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 29-27, 28-26, 25-21.

Meanwhile, Copper Hills came up short against Pleasant Grove on Friday and fell 3-1. The Grizzlies have struggled against the Vikings recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.

The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-18, 26-28, 25-14.

Copper Hills' defeat dropped their record down to 12-9. As for Riverton, they pushed their record up to 9-6 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

Here's a few offensive stats to keep an eye on ahead of Tuesday's matchup: Riverton has really dialed in their serving this season, having averaged 5.9 aces per game. However, it's not like Copper Hills struggles in that department as they've been averaging 6.2 aces. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.
