Soccer Game Preview: Wenatchee vs. West Valley

The Wenatchee Panthers will take on the West Valley Rams at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. West Valley took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Wenatchee, who comes in off a win.

Wenatchee barely beat Davis the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Panthers were the clear victors by a 5-2 margin over the Pirates on Friday. Considering Wenatchee have won four contests by more than two goals this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, West Valley didn't have quite enough to beat Moses Lake on Tuesday and fell 3-2.

The victory made it two in a row for Wenatchee and bumps their season record up to 7-1. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored eight goals over those two matches. As for West Valley, their loss was their fifth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 2-8.

Wenatchee beat West Valley 2-0 in their previous meeting back in March. Will the Panthers repeat their success, or do the Rams have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
