Football Preview: Seymour Eagles vs. Fulton Falcons
Seymour is on an eight-game streak of home losses also dating back to last season, Fulton a six-game streak of away losses also dating back to last season, but someone's luck is about to change on Friday. It'll be Battle of the Birds when Eagles dukes it out withthe Fulton Falcons at 7:00 p.m. Hopefully Seymour focused on turnovers this week as the team gave up four on Friday.
Last Friday, Seymour was just a hair shy of victory and fell 18-17 to South Greene.
Although Seymour took the loss, they still got scores from Madden Guffey and Connor Ogle.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Fulton). They blew past South-Doyle 40-16 on Friday. The victory almost wasn't to be: the Falcons were down 13-0 in the fourth quarter.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Fulton to victory, but perhaps none more so than Albert Johnson, who rushed for 161 yards and a touchdown on only 12 carries. The dominant performance gave Johnson a new career-high in rushing yards. Javon Moulden was another key passer, throwing for 219 yards and four touchdowns while completing 86.7% of his passes.

Seymour's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Fulton, they now have a winning record of 4-3.
Friday's contest will pit two of the most dominant backs against one another: Ryan Gibson and Johnson. Gibson has put up some stellar numbers this year, and currently owns excellent season averages 133.5 rushing yards per game this season. For his part, Johnson has averaged 118.3 rushing yards per game this season.
