Belmont's game last Wednesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. They won by a set and slipped past the Hollywood Sheiks 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Sentinels have posted since March 6, 2024.

The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was Belmont who won the one that mattered. The match finished with set scores of 25-9, 20-25, 25-16, 23-25, 15-4.

Belmont's victory ended a three-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-2. As for Hollywood, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Belmont will take on Mendez at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Hollywood, they will square off against Bernstein at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. This will be Bernstein's first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
