Basketball Game Preview: Delphi Community Oracles vs. Twin Lakes Indians

Delphi Community is 2-8 against Twin Lakes since December of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Saturday. The Oracles will face off against the Indians at 12:00 p.m. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

While Oracles fans will have to keep waiting for their squad to come home, they shouldn't be too worried about the road trip considering the result of Tuesday's season opener. They put the hurt on Northwestern with a sharp 56-33 win on Tuesday.

Delphi Community got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Ava Mills out in front who almost dropped a double-double with ten points and nine steals. Another player making a difference was Payton Morrow, who dropped a double-double with 13 points and ten rebounds.

Meanwhile, Twin Lakes took their game on Thursday with ease, bagging a 48-19 win over Logansport. The victory continues a trend for the Indians in their matchups with the Berries: they've now won six in a row.

Delphi Community came out on top in a nail-biter against Twin Lakes in their previous meeting back in November of 2024, sneaking past 36-34. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Oracles since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
