On Friday, Corona/Vaughn was fully in charge, breezing past Mountainair 61-30. The Cardinals have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight games by 23 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, San Jon didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Clovis Christian on Saturday, but they still walked away with a 37-31 victory.

Corona/Vaughn is also on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 12-3 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.4 points per game. As for San Jon, the win got them back to even at 6-6.
